POST DIPLOMA IN FIRE ENGINEERING – FINAL CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION▾
The Post Diploma in Fire Engineering (MSBTE – FI) examination is designed to assess the learner’s theoretical understanding, practical knowledge and ability to apply fire engineering and safety principles in real workplace situations.
The assessment may include semester-end written examinations, practical examinations, internal/progressive assessment and project-based evaluation, as applicable to the MSBTE examination scheme.
Students are assessed on areas such as fire prevention, fire protection systems, fire-fighting techniques, emergency response, fire hazards, safety management, equipment operation and practical fire engineering applications.
The examination aims to ensure that successful learners have developed the technical knowledge and practical competency required to understand and support fire prevention, protection and emergency response activities in industrial and commercial environments.

- Degree in Engineering, Technology or Science from a recognised university/institute; OR
- Any recognised degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the field of Fire Services; OR
- Successfully completed the 2-year Diploma in Fire Service Engineering (FR) of MSBTE.
