B.SC. (ZBC) – BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ZOOLOGY, BOTANY & CHEMISTRY
ABOUT THE COURSE
The B.Sc. (ZBC) – Bachelor of Science in Zoology, Botany and Chemistry is a three-year undergraduate science programme designed to provide students with a comprehensive foundation in biological and chemical sciences. The programme combines the study of animals, plants and chemical principles to develop scientific understanding, analytical abilities, laboratory skills and an appreciation of biological systems and their interaction with the environment.
Through theoretical classes, practical laboratory work, assignments, field-oriented learning and academic projects, students develop knowledge of animal biology, plant sciences, biodiversity, ecology, genetics, physiology, microbiology and chemistry. The programme provides a strong academic foundation for higher education, research, teaching, laboratory-based careers, environmental studies and further professional specialisation.
